    Kumon North America is searking an Instructor Training Specialist who will design and deliver training programs for Prospective Franchisees and potentially other audiences as confirmed by management; evaluate the learners during and after the training sessions as appropriate, and work with the team and field members to develop trainees both before and after opening. This person should stay up to date on the training industry and on the Kumon Method and topics related to the running of a successful Kumon Center.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate/Present training programs
    • Revise/update overall training programs and specific modules
    • Prepare materials for each session
    • Assess learning during and after training
    • Coach trainees in skills acquisition
    • Maintain knowledge/skills to effectively design/facilitate training materials and programs
    • Complete other responsibilities/tasks as assigned, such as creating on-line learning modules and developing student case studies

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ degree
    • 3 - 5 years of prior work experience
    • Analytical, project/process management skills
    • Presentation and training facilitation experience
    • Knowledge of learning and development best practices, program design and development
    • Computer/technical skills
    • Oral and written communication skills
    • Basic clerical/administrative skills
