    Kumon Canada Distribution Centre services 350 centres across the country.  The mission of our team is to pick and pack orders as accurately and efficiently as possible.  In addition, we strive to provide high level customer service and support to both franchisees and Kumon staff members

     

    Job Summary:  Our warehouse administrator/order clerk will work alongside the team to ship orders to all of our franchisees across Canada.  You will be involved all aspects of our operation:  picking and shipping orders, receiving and putting incoming shipments into stock, running inventory reports, receiving and submitting orders into our pick-to-light system.

    Responsibilities

    As a warehouse administrator/order clerk you will:

    1. Work with a small team to process orders for franchisees across Canada
    2. Pick and pack orders in our Pick-to-light system.
    3. Extract inventory control reports into Excel, able to manipulate to specifications. Analyze inventory numbers and order appropriately.
    4. Communicate and listen effectively, work well with others. Be flexible and have a good attitude.
    5. Provide excellent customer service to franchisees.
    6. Look after any issues with regard to maintenance of the operation (equipment, hardware, software, building)
    7. Receive on-line orders and submit them ot our pick-to-light system.
    8. Use RF Scanner guns to monitor, identify inventory and locations.
    9. Monitor on-line ordering website
    10. Help ship daily orders by UPS as well as receive, reconcile and put away bi-monthly truck shipments.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience working in a warehouse with administrative function.
    • Able to lift 35 lb. boxes
    • Required to stand Seven (7) hours a day
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (vendor and customer relations skills)
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Previous experience with WMS (Access-based preferred)
    • Proficiency with Word, Excel (Windows 10) and Outlook software programs
    • Basic IT knowledge, to trouble-shoot basic problems
    • Knowledge of safety procedures
    • Forklift certification a plus
