    Kumon is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to play a key role in our organization. The main goal of the successful candidate is to leverage data and communicate findings to help us make data-supported business decisions.

    Location: 300-6240 Highway 7 Woodbridge, ON L4H 4G3

    Length of contract: 1 year contract with the possibility of extension

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with Brand Communications team to define KPIs and track the results of marketing campaigns/promotions, and other marketing activities for Canada and US
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports as assigned
    • Define, develop and deliver dashboards with interpretive analysis and recommendation.
    • Provide demographic data on current and potential markets for Canada
    • Develop and update maps and reports with identified key factors in market penetration and segmentation
    • Analyze internal data and create reports to meet various team needs across Canada and provide analysis as required
    • Responsible for the prioritization of ad-hoc data requests
    • Work collaboratively with Managers and other associates on Special Projects as required
    • Assist upper management with various analyses which may involve confidential information
    • Other essential functions and duties as assigned

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Data Sciences, or related majors
    • At least 3 years’ work experience in data analytics
    • Five (5) or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as data validation, utilizing vLookups, creating charts and graphs, pivot tables and Power Pivot in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with GIS applications such as ESRI, Anysite, MapInfo
    • Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or Salesforce is an asset
    • Ability to adapt to and learn new applications
    • Must be able to understand and translate complex data in a way that is simple and easily comprehensible for all audiences
    • Must have excellent time management skills to handle multiple assignments or projects and competing priorities
    • Must be highly analytical with great attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
    • Eager to learn, research and improve analytics skillset
    • Proven knowledge of data visualization best practices and ability create clear and visually impactful dashboards
    • Proven ability to work well independently, but also function in a team environment, with frequent contact with people at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision
